When we stop breathing
We just closed our eyes
And are simply dreaming
An eternal dream
It lasts forever
Sometimes it goes good
Sometimes it never gets better
At times you'll smile
And at times you'll scream
But it always changes
It is never what it seems
But God will awaken us
Of that I'm sure
We'll just have to start over
Like we never lived before"


Worn Away

"A book scribbled in
Torn and cast aside
Thrown into the fire and ashes
Just another secret to hide
A picture turned yellow
Once black and gray
Tearing a little bit more
Day by day
An old diary
Filled to the last page
Growing sadder and sadder
By day and age
An empty photo album
All the pictures burned
Each held too much pain
And cries left unheard"
